Search Engine Marketing Success - Discover New Report from AdGooroo for Your Profits

July 1st, 2008

Hi everyone,

Are you promoting your online business with search engine marketing? Are you looking for how to increase massively your profits online? If yes, I strongly believe that you should read this post written by Tameka Kee..

You will find the information you need and download free new report from AdGooroo for your super profitable search engine marketing campaigns.

“While Google’s growth has largely been built upon the ease and simplicity of use of its AdWords paid search marketing platform, the rules governing ad placement, ad quality and how much advertisers pay per click have become increasingly complex.

For example, the search giant made 20 quality improvements to Adwords ads in third quarter 2007 alone, according to Nick Fox, Google’s director of business product management for ads quality and bidding.

With all the changes, it has become difficult for agencies–let alone independent advertisers–to use paid search in the most cost-effective manner, which is why search marketing firms like AdGooroo are constantly developing bid and campaign management technology, as well as research. And the latest research from the Chicago-based search firm highlights the correlation between ad placement, conversions and average cost-per-click (CPC).

Take ad placement, one of the factors advertisers try to influence when they make their bids. Attaining the top spot (either the first ad on the right side of the search page, or the first ad above the organic search results) would seem like a coup in terms of visibility, but AdGooroo’s research found that the seventh spot was actually the most profitable for advertisers–particularly when bidding on broad keywords.

AdGooroo found that if an ad was not profitable in the seventh spot, increasing the bid to get it to a higher, more visible position did not increase the profitability, regardless of whether the ad jumped by one, or even four spots. In that case, bidding more is “pretty much universally the wrong strategy,” said Richard Stokes, AdGooroo’s president and founder. “Though it would seem like getting a higher placement would increase conversions, we found that the conversion rate doesn’t increase nearly as much as your CPC. You should work on your ad copy or landing page then, or even stop bidding on that keyword all together.”

In contrast, niche terms fared much better with higher placement, particularly the second and third spots. According to the report, bidding to snag the second or third spot with longer-tail keywords was key to profitability. And unless an advertiser had tracking reports to prove that the number one spot would be profitable, bidding for it would be a waste of budget.

AdGooroo studied the performance of more than 300 search phrases (or keywords) over the course of December 2007. Each phrase had received at least 200 clicks during the test period, and had fluctuated in terms of position by at least one spot. The search firm took CPCs, click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates and data like average order size into account when determining an ad’s profitability. The study, titled “How keyword length and ad position impact clickthrough rate and cost-per-click on Google AdWords,” is available as a free PDF on the company’s Web site.”

PPC Advertising Tips & Tricks - Discover What You Can NOT Control for Your Quality Score in Google AdWords

June 10th, 2008

Hi everyone,

Today, I am going to share you what you can’t control for Quality Score in Google AdWords. I just drop by the CDFNetwork site and found that his post is interested and good to know. You will discover and learn how to improve your quality score (as you can control) and massive your PPC profits.

Here are the factors for Quality Score for both of what you can control and can’t control:

“It’s pretty well known that the 4 main categories of quality score elements that you can control are:

1) Keywords
2) Ad copy
3) Account Structure
4) Landing pages

Volumes of information have been written about each one of these topics. But many people are not aware that there are other factors to your quality score that you have little to no control over at all.

1. First of all, the niche you are in affects your quality score. By just entering the niches, certain factors are applied to your score at the account level.

2. Your business model affects your quality score. Adwords looks at the way you are driving leads to a landing page and assigns a business model rating to your account. If they think your business model is based on affiliate sales they probably have a rating that dings your whole account.

3. Lastly, your competitors afffect YOUR quality score. This is probably the most frustrating thing to learn, but yes the competitors around you affect the score in your account in a negative way. Is this fair? I don’t think so, but that’s how Adwords rolls.”

Final thought, “do what you can with what you have, right where you are” is my secret to success in any kind of business.

Please feel free to share your ideas. I’m happy to hear from you.

Cheers,
zMillionDollars

Keyword Research Tools - Using Social Networks to Find Your Magic Keywords & Massive PPC Profits!

June 2nd, 2008

Hi everyone,

As we know that keyword is one of the most important components in pay per click (ppc) online advertising. With the effective keyword research, you will discover profitable keywords and earn more money. Today, I’m going to share you an interesting article written by Ann Smarty. You will discover and learn how to use social networks to discover super profitable keywords.

Here are the articles showing how to use social networks to find niche profitable keywords:

“Social media networking is a comparatively new phenomenon we haven’t yet learned to treat properly. Most online marketers are simply trying to promote their product there pretending to be their customers’ friends. Others successfully manage their reputation with the help of social media communities.

But what if we could use social media to explore your niche and learn more about your audience? That definitely makes sense: social media network is the community of real people who say what they think right now. Thus social media can help you to conduct up-to-date niche research:

- to learn demographics, interests and tastes of your targeted audience;
- to explore your competitors;
- to conduct the enhanced keyword research.

Recently there appeared several tools that will help with your keyword research by showing you the following:

- how popular your keyword is;
- who discusses your keyword and how (the context it is used in);
- your keyword synonyms and related terms;
- your niche trends and its related words usage. ”

1. TweetVolume will show you how much your keyword is discussed and also compare its stats to other neighboring terms.

2. Two other Twitter applications TweetScan and Summize will also show you who is talking about your keyword right now and what they are saying (you can also subscribe to the RSS to daily track your key term).

3. Del.icio.us will show your keyword related terms and most popular bookmarks about it.

4. Recently launched Facebook Lexicon shows what is discussed throughout Facebook discussion walls. It is great for comparing related terms and analyzing new popular trends but it will only show you what is really heavily discussed.”

Final thoughts, the more profitable keywords you have, the more money you earn. With the above sites, you are in the great position to find more extra profitable keywords. Also, you will know what exactly people are talking about. I believe that using social networks are more popular to find out what keywords or words people are saying. Remember, what they say is what they search.

However, if you do not want to waste you time to research keywords, I highly recommend you to grab 200,000+ Magic LIVE Keywords I’ve used and are using now. With those Magic LIVE Keywords, you save a TON of your time and money for your keywords research.

PPC Advertising Tips & Tricks - Discover 4 Happy Tips to Increase Your Conversion Rate of Landing Page

May 22nd, 2008

Hi everyone,

Today, I am going to give you happy tips to increase the conversion rate of your landing page in PPC online advertising. You will surprise how those tips can help you!

Here are happy tips:

1) Involve people. People make the landing page seem real, almost personal. The most common thing that’s done is your average good looking blonde. Sex sells yeah, but notice something else about them? They’re always smiling. I’ve used brunettes on pages and unless you’re trying to convey something sexy like with dating, they have a cute smile on. They work great on financial pages like credit reports and insurance pages. Traditional cute blonde…low(er) cut business suit…glasses…solid.

2) Happy colors. Blues, greens, oranges, reds. Nobody wants to go to a landing page that looks like a rainy day with 5 different shades of gray. The most popular color is probably blue, although I’ve had some success with orange pages on a white background. In most cases keeping the background white is better, black looks much too dark and almost depressing.

3) Focus on positive copy writing. Unless you plan on being ruthless and attacking their weak points with something like “Loser like you can’t find a woman? They can’t see your face here so put up a fake picture on Mate1 and chat with the hot chicks you desire!”, generally be positive in how you word your statements. Notice how the tagline of Geico is “I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.”, not “I was poor and depressed so I tried saving some money on car insurance with Geico.” Their statement is happy, they’re saving money, things are great. Stress why your product of service will help them solve whatever problem they have.

4) Testimonials. Testimonials are definitely solid and most places know that. Research your offer page and most likely there will be a testimonials section somewhere with people praising the product. Scrape those bad boys and put them on your landing page. It gives the person a great positive and personal feel for what they’re researching.”

The source of the above tips come from Uberaffiliate site.

Please feel free to share your ideas. I’m happy to hear from you.

Cheers,
zMillionDollars
